I recently had the pleasure of hanging out with one of my style icons, the lovely Lauren Conrad at an m.powerment by mark. event. But while I was super-excited to pick her brain about fashion/gossip about the Hills, we were there to discuss a more serious topic: violence against women. Lauren told me that one in five girls ages 18-24 is a victim of dating abuse.
